Hi,
I intend to switch to Openzaurus. I have two questions.
1) How do I transfer/sync data especially in the address book to use it later in OZ?
2) How do I flash back to Sharp ROM? I will need to go back and forth a few times before I can switch 100%. Is there a way from Unix since that is my desktop environment.
Regards

What do you sync with atm? On Linux I presume?
I use Outlook (WinXP for my sins) so I was able to sync the Sharp 3.xx data with that using the most recent version of intellisync, then use an older version of intellisync (because OZ uses the .xml format for its data) to sync with OZ once I flashed that.
There;s a thread about syncing OZ pinned at the top of this topic.

Simply place the ospack file on a CF card and perform the usual flashing procedure.

Indeed, I was talking about OZ/Opie, I've never tried to sync using OZ/GPE.

Thanks a bunch. Worked like a charm. I had done this a while back but forgot how to do it.
