Hello, I recently purchased a Z SL-C3000 and I cant get the headphones to work. Sound is coming our right in the speaker, but nothing happends when I plug in headphones. Ive tried a few pair, but no luck.
Any ideas ?
Thanks!

In addition, Im able to hear some static sound when a sound is played (as the soundcard channel opens) But still no sound from the headphones. Anyone how the headphone system works ? is it software handled ? When headphones are plugged in it stops the sound from the speaker, or is it a circuit that shuts off the sound from the speaker once headphones are plugged ? I have bought my Zaurus second-hand and the shop guy said it would no longer be under warranty if I set the OS to english... I went back to the shop with no luck... he would not replace the zaurus. I suspect a hardware problem, but I need to make sure its not a software issue.
Thanks for any help

As an update, I was able to record sound through my pair of headphones, which confirms that the plug should be working. Is there a software setting for switching to headphones or microphone mode ?
