I'm too early, but I've got a 2Gb SD (sandisk Ultra II).
I'll be happy to test on a C3100.

I'm too early, but I've got a 2Gb SD (sandisk Ultra II).

Cxx00 support coming soon as i finish debug C7x0/860!
Maybe will add support for Cxx00 tomorrow if no one with C7x0

Is there any chance the new driver will help with non-Japanese cards that the current driver chokes on?  I've got a Viking  made-in-Taiwan 256MB SD that my 760 throws I/O errors on when it's formatted ext2, and have been leery of getting any larger card for fear of the same thing happening.  The 760 is perfectly happy with a 128MB Japanese PNY.

I can test with C760.  I can also test with 6000.

I have 3 cards to test with:

2GB Sandisk SD
2GB Sandisk Ultra II SD
and 2GB Transcend MMCplus.

If it can be done   , a C1000 + 4GB SD  = C3100    ?

I´ve go a C700 and a C1000 for testing with my SanDisk 2GB SD Card, so i can put all my Programs, KDE (squashfs) and Debian on my Card to use my CF WLAN Card

Hey Sash,

I'd really like to try this driver to see if it fixes my suspend/resume problem with I/O errors on the SD card.  Can you post it somewhere or PM me?  I have a c760 and a 2gb that I can test with it as well.

C860 user here, i have a Sandisk 2GB SD that is not being read by rc10, would like to see if this fixes the problem.  PM the info, i can send my email there.

The Sandisk 2GB SD card I have is not working properly on my 3k1 on 1.1.0beta1. I would therefore like to test the new driver as well.

btw, which cards have been tested to be known to work? i was planning on getting a 4 GB SD card or a 2GB mini SD with adaptor.

Hi Sashz :-)

I've tested a SanDisk 2GB Card ... not working :-) with Beta1 ...

CF/SD-Monitor Applet won't recognize the card ... having some error messages in dmesg and /var/log/messages ... maybe there are some problems with partition table I have added the partinfo from fdisk!

after ejecting it other card will not be mounted :-( ... after reboot it works again.

I found that /etc/sdcontrol calls sdctrl which does not seem to exist on the root image.
However, I have noticed that if sdcardmgr module is not loaded, then manually loading mmc_pxa will enable /dev/mmcda1 and you will be able to mount the SD card. Currently I am just trying this on a 256MB card since my 2GB one has not arrived yet.

oops, I was using the wrong sdcontrol script. now with the right one, it works now, but I need to use it to insert and eject the SD card manually. Now all I need is for my new SD card to arrive.

ok, I ripped the modules from the akita-root tarball for the C3100 and got the SD driver working on a C3000 and I seem to have gotten all the needed file since it works and the SD is detected. However, I use the usb storage feature using the usb cable, the SD card is only available as read-only to the PC. Does this also happen on a C3100/C1000 or did I miss some files?

Btw, has anyone gotten a Kingston 2GB SD working with this driver? I am still waiting for it to arrive.

probably driver not work with cards bigger than 1 GB. I need card for debugging or ssh access to zaurus with this card. If some one can provide ssh, please write me PM or email.

SL7500C + SANDesk 2G SD Card + pdaXrom1.1.0beta1

The card is not recognized right now.
