Title: Mplayer Bvdd 640x480
Post by: gab74 on January 30, 2006, 05:20:45 am
I see try to see a divx ripped at 640x357 on my Zaurus C3100 running Cako 1.23 and mplayer with bvdd... all works very well but the video seems not at 357 because there are 2 black bars very heigh....

The same video on an Dell axim x50v played with TCMP is more bigger : the video's height is more correct then the same video on Zaurus....

maybee its your encoding.  try my tutorial at the bottem sig.  also, read and try an old video that i encoded for the sl-5500 which works okay for the c1000.

Does anyone noticed this strange behaviour ?

Why a divx decoded at 640x480 is displayed on the C3100 in full screen but with 2 black bar at the top and botton ( so it is not a real  640x480.... )???

The original movie could be letterboxed, or in widescreen mode.
