Title: Cf Card (bluetooth) Instead Of Cf Placeholder
Post by: bluedevils on January 30, 2006, 05:12:33 pm
Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of getting a socket bluetooth card and keeping it in the CF slot instead of the CD placeholder.  Are there any risks?  I know a CF wifi card (or just my socket wifi) turns to an unknown state with the cacko rom.  I can't imagine normal CF flash cards having any problems.  Has anyone tried this?

I have a socket CF bluetooth card, and that is just what I do with it. It doesn't stick out of the slot at all, so I just leave it in 24x7, unless I swap it with my Wifi or LAN card.

I did this under Cacko ROM and do it now under pdaXrom.

Most of the ROM's shut off the CF cards during suspend anyway, so basically the card is "disconnected" from the OS during suspend anyway.

tried this it automatically reinserts during a resume, kinda cool, no problems so far...btw using a socket cf bt card, and surprisingly enough obpush registers right away, no config needed...
