Items: SL-C860 or Sl-6000L with accessories priced separately
Location: Cambridge, England
Payment methods: pounds sterling cheque or cash, nochex, international bank transfer, or paypal verified user only (and you'll have to pay the paypal fee),
I am having to sell off my gadgets, due to loss of job , and I can't justify having TWO zauruses - an SL-C860 and SL-6000L
Basically, whichever gets the first reasonable offer will go
PM me if you wish to make an offer, or if you wanna Skype me, my skype name is also speculatrix.
The 860 is in mint condition - had a screen saver from new, with universal (not Sharp) power adaptor, original sync cable, all original packaging+ disks+ manuals (in Japanese). Currently flashed to Cacko 1.23 (only the third flash, so no worries about bad blocks).
The 6000L is in pretty good condition - no scratches on screen, the flip cover is in good shape. Comes with cradle, usb host cable, usb sync cable, original packaging, disk, manuals and Sharp universal power adaptor.
I'll burn DVDs of my zaurus downloads to bundle with each, as lots of useful stuff.
Optional extras selling separately:
* PDAir leather case (also like new) for the 860
* Socket/Symbol spectrum wifi card (very low power) - works with kismet
* Socket/Symbol rev E bluetooth card (low power, invisible when fitted)
I'm going to keep the pentopia stylus for it since I intend to get a 3100 (or whatever the latest spec zaurus is) when I get a new job - I live in faith!
I'll post some pictures and more details soon, but I'm kind of busy right now.

Sorry to hear about your job. Best of luck to you in finding a new one!
As for the Z, I sent you a PM.
Good hunting, man.

I'd gladly do a combo deal as it saves P&P. I've got the original packaging and manuals for the socket BT card, but not for the symbol wifi card.
Make me an offer by private message.

sure, make me an offer by PM and whoever makes the best offer wins it - sealed bid auction if you like.

sigh.... all items still for sale. I managed to find a temporary contract to keep food on the table, but I still need to be uber careful with cash. I'm kind of holding on the 6000 for the moment as a few people have commented that it will be far harder to replace than a clamshell.
OK, since people are clearly waiting for me to say how much... prices are in GB pounds sterling. Postage will be combined as much as possible. I am also willing to deliver to Cambridge, Lewisham, Amersham or Nottingham in the UK (an excuse to visit relatives).
socket wifi card: 17
socket BT card (revision E): 15
PDAir case: 12.50
SL-C860: 235
For delivery costs, see www.royalmail.com - the 860 packaged up would probably be < 750g
-
p.s. I will only sell the PDAir case separately *after* the 860 has been sold if that purchaser didn't want it.

Look at it the other way. The 6000 is worth a lot more money and is rarer. Sought after because of where it is in the market but that place in the market is disappearing rapidly.
The 860 however will not be easier to replace long term. You will soon not be able to find good ones.
I'm working my way through them. Liked the 6000 but preferred the 860, got a 3000 but still think I prefer the 860.

the wifi and bluetooth cards are now sold.

the 860 has the advantage of being quite well documented, especially the accelerated video driver, so there's 100% hardware support, whereas the 1000 and 3x00 are still not quite perfect. The only thing the 860 lacks, in my humble opinion, is USB host, but now that the 2GB sd card problem has been sold, it's not such a big deal.
I also agree about the 6000 being quite sort after...
I managed to land a temporary job, so the situation isn't so desperate at the moment, but I think i'm still in the position where a serious offer on either or both would be accepted!
