Title: For Trade: Dell Axim X50v + Bt Keyboard
Post by: ma401 on February 03, 2006, 01:58:13 am
First post, so please forgive if I miss something obvious.

My technolust is kicking in in a big way and I want to get rid of my Dell Axim X50v, here's what I have to offer:

Dell Axim X50v, in 9/10 condition.
Dell Executive Bluetooth Keyboard
2 Cleartouch Crystal screen protectors (as well as the one that's been on the screen since day one)
Dell standard battery
Dell extended battery
Sena black leather case, extended battery version
+standard accessories (cradle, charging adapter, etc)

Here's what I'm looking for:
An SL-5600 + some cash OR something a little higher end (C-760/860?) for a direct trade. I'm not too sure how well my Axim compares against the Zaurus line but I could probably fetch $300-350 US for it + all accessories on eBay, so I'll let you (the experts) tell me.

I'm in Edmonton, Alberta and willing to ship. I have eBay feedback for verification (user: infidelity85) and if money is involved paypal is the preferred method of payment.

I think that's about it. Preferred method of contact is email at dan DOT hunke AT gmail DOT com, I'm a Blackberry user so I should be able to get back to you within 10 minutes of receiving the email.

Cheers, pictures follow:

Update: I've an impending trade coming up next week, so barring any unforseen circumstances the X50v will be off to its new home in Spain and I will be the proud new owner of a sleek, shiny C-760!

I'm curious.  The x50v is a very nice machine (vga with very good movie playback).  What enticed you to want a zaurus?

I want something I can tinker with extensively and the Zaurus promises that. WM2003 will only go so far, and Dell's being rather lax with producing a quality upgrade to WM5 for the device (it exists but it's buggy as hell). As a former HPC2000 owner (MobilePro 790), I can appreciate just how annoying it is to have nobody developing software for your system.
