Title: Low Memory And Kphone

Hi,

I have a SL-C1000 using full Cacko 1.23.

While using Kphone I always get a low Memory message asking me to kill an application, but I only have Kphone running. My Memory status is:

Total Memory: 63787 kB
Used: 20830 kB
Buffers: 6266 kB
Cached: 28872
Free: 7819

with the kphone running (before making a call) and wi-fi card running and nothing else.

I am able to start kphone, login and start a call, that is when the Low memory shows up and slows down a lot the Zaurus. If I wait long enough the call eventually goes tru only if I do not click on OK for killing the application.

I have no CF or SD card for now and no swapfile.

The only extra software I installed apart kphone is KO/PI and pdf2 viewer.

Any idea what I can do to fix the problem?

create a swap file on an sd card about 32mb and activate it.  you have an icon on lower right taskbar which is the batter.  should work.  it adds memory so you wont run out of memory.  Like a virtual memory for windows.
