Post by: Yoru on February 14, 2006, 02:48:03 pm
This evening, the internal microdrive of my C3100 has started to make a repeated noises, like "tick-tack" and all of my programs installed on my HDD desapeared, now Z cant find the HDD and its partitions.

What can I do? I have had only 2 weeks my new precious C3100    Can I repair it?

Please give me some ideas...

only 2 weeks, you should be able to return it.  Where did you buy it from?

yeah speak to them. I been owning a c-1000 for a while with on problems.  That is one of the main reasons why i did not got for the c3100.  Well, i just purchased one after selling the  c1000.  You can replace the drive with an internal compact flash 4gb instead of keeping the microdrive.  That is my main intention to do at this point.  or go for an 8gb.

just being curious, did you jogg with it or drop it?
