You beat to me it. But since I already compiled and packaged it I was going to upload it here anyway, unfortunately it exceeds the attachment size limit, weighing in at 5134KB. FWIW it seems to be a very simple game but uses an exceedingly large amount of space (mostly graphics and music).

Hey, you should give it a try. It's not difficult (really). pgas has done a great job of writing some documentation on compiling and packaging and all the info you need can be found here:

For many apps, the compilation is actually the easy part (configure; make install) with packaging being the tedious bit.

Drod does look fun. I may have to try it out on my Linux box untill someone compiles it (maybe me).
