Title: How To Send File From Z To Oc With Bluetooth
Post by: tombraider on February 23, 2006, 11:06:57 am
Hi,
I just got 2 little USB bluetooth adapters from Woot - Creative brand Creative USB bluetooth adapter (http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?InvtId=70BX000007117&cm_ven=Froogle&cm_cat=Shopping&cm_ite=total)- and they sorta work.  I can send files FROM my PC and they go to a folder under internal documents on my C1000,  but I can't figure out how to send a file FROM the Z TO the PC.

Someone mentioned in a thread somewhere that there is an Obextool on the Cacko ROM for exchanging of files.  I don't see it anywhere.

Can someone help me out with a clue?

Also,  I can't get this PAN business to work.  Have looked at Jensen's Homepage (http://www.jens-koenen.de/index.html)  and am unsure whether I need to install Bluez or not...isn't it already installed in the Cacko ROM?  Or is there some other software I have to install to exchange files/

Help out somebody dumber than a door knob.

Thanks.

1. Cacko Rom has latest bluez installed.
2. obextool is there just do #obextool --help, read
3. PAN, well if you figure this one out for linux(kubuntu), I haven't yet.

Meanie has some scripts he is putting together for this using opie-sh, I am too trying to get this together and do something along that form factor as well. Mine is extremly rudamentry compared to what Meanie has.
