Hello all,
as I hopefully will be receiving my Zaurus (original japanese version) soon, I'd like to get it to a working state by flashing OZ as the japanese software does not really help. If I'm not mistaken, OZ is installed onto the harddrive. I suspect that the japanese files reside there, too. Is there a way (and is it a good idea) to erase the harddisk before flashing to avoid a mix-up of japanese and OZ files?
Sincerely,
Tron

Hello all,
maybe my first posting was a bit confusing, but I have to admit that I did not find much about the partitioning scheme of the Borzoi and where what is (gets) installed.
Am I correct that the 128M flash consists of one partition plus a further three on the microdrive? Is the basic operating system of OZ (kernel, modules, /etc) installed onto flash and the rest (/home for example) onto the microdrive? And how is it done with the original ROM?
Sincerely,
Tron
