NOTE: There is a problem with the CF Card Slot. I don't know if it is a
hardware or software problem. Don't have time to chase it you my loss
is your gain. Everything else appears to work fine.
Thanks! doc

do you have pictures? And, what does the CF slot NOT do?

Minor scuffs to the edges, display is clean . I can take a picture
or two if you like.
The CF slot is unresponsive. I have tried a variety of commands
and resets and cannot get it to interact properly with a CF card.
It does recognize that a device has been inserted but after that
nada.
I now have a C1000 and too many other projects to mess with
it.

Is the 5500 still for sale?
How old is it? As long as the battery is generally on par with a new one, then I'm interested.
Also, if you haven't already, you might want to make sure the CF card is FAT16 formatted rather than FAT32. Of course, if that's the case, I might have just lost a good deal. :\
Thanks.
