Title: Gnu Gnash - Flash Movie Player
Post by: leskimo on March 04, 2006, 12:01:03 pm
This looks promising!

"This is one of the prime motivators for me to do Gnash. Not just because having a free plugin would be cool, but to have the standalone player work on my Zaurus, or other small footprint devices."

This part might be a problem, although it is possible to run software OpenGL, from my experience that is slow.

High Quality Output - Gnash uses OpenGL for rendering the graphics.

Anyways, this looks pretty cool, I can't wait for desktop distros to start adopting this.
