Title: Dialog Window Too Large To Display
Post by: denny_kf on March 11, 2006, 03:40:19 am
When I use File/Open menu in abiword or gnumeric,
it will display a dialog for selecting files to open.
The dialog is too large to fit in a 640x480 screen, and I cannot resize
or move the dialog window to select my files.
Someone got the same problem too? and how do you solve it?
Thanks.

yep! that's one which troubled me too when i was new to this! i found out only by accident

probably one should add: the alt-key is the "japanese key" to the right of the ctrl key, use arrow keys together with alt key!

Ohh the classic problems :-) There is even a shortcut key for getting the windows to fit the screen - hint... Try using the search functions on the forum.

Is there anything I can do about this on the 5500?

There is no Alt as far as I can tell, and I can't find the shortcut Laze mentioned.

In the past on the 5500 with pdaXROM, and most likely now:

CONTROL  is bound to the calendar hard button

ALT  is bound to the people button
