Title: Remote Control
Post by: Mjolinor on March 12, 2006, 05:08:57 am
I just sold my 860 and forgot that I had a CE-RH1 remote so I now need to alter it to make it work on my 3000 ie change it into a CE-RH2.

Assuming it works in the same way the I just need the impedance values for the 5 functions.

The RH1 control is from the two connections on the plug nearest to the wire, not the tip.

The RH1 is a follows.

No button: OC
Volume up: 2500 ohms
Volume down: 6400 ohms
Fast forward: 1300 ohms
Fast rewind: 700 ohms
Stop: 360 ohms

Will some kind person please measure those on an RH2.

resistance values for RH2. 330, 470, 680, 910,1.5k,3.3k,18k

see https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...15333&hl=ce-rh2 (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=15333&hl=ce-rh2) for schematic, just change the vals to the ones noted above (notice the asscending order on both

Don't forget to swap the Key and GND wires to the connector.  They got swapped between the CE-RH1 and CE-RH2.  See [a href=\"https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=15333&hl=creative%20zen&st=15#]this discussion.[/url]

You can use boolean operators

searching for "searching AND word" will bring back your post.
