Title: YAR ROM
Post by: Murga on February 19, 2004, 01:19:31 am
Hi

Has anyone tried this ?

http://killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1222 (http://killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1222)

It looks kinda interesting and can be downloaded  from :

https://www.oesf.org/commu...&release_id=191 (https://www.oesf.org/community/66.180.235.230/project/showfileseb72.html?group_id=71&release_id=191)

Will the 5500 version work on a 5600 ?

Cheers

No. Although they look similar, the 5600 is a totally different beast.

Hey

They can\'t be that different ... I put the 5500 version of the Zynergy ROM
(by accident) on my 5600 and it worked fine.

That\'s why I was asking.

I have a hard time believing that you managed to get an unmodified SL-5500 kernel booting on the SL-5600. Then again, I can\'t proof as I never have seen nor touched a 5600.

Hey

Not sure if the kernel worked... but the 5500 rom image did.
