Title: Uk Z Repair

(this is re-posted from General Discussion as no-one replied and that got me a bit worried)

I bought a C3000 off e-bay a few months ago and thankfully it was in very good condition (shop new almost) and I've not had any hardware problems with it so far, but thats not to say it won't happen. If something should go wrong, where is the best Z repair shop in the UK? I'd presume they're just gonna send it off to Sharp Japan aren't they?

Whats the most common malfunction on Cxx00 devices? How much would I be looking at to get such a repair? My dad looked into getting it insured (its his, not mine) but they were asking silly money.

As far as I know, you can't get it repaired in the UK. You will need to send it back to Sharp in Japan. Maybe some of the European suppliers like Figlabs or Trisoft would be able to sort that for you as a service if ayou ask, but as far as I know, they generally only do that if you bought your Z from them.
