I will start with: Forgive me I am new to zaurus and ipkg

I downloaded the pdaxrom image and installed it on my Zaurus 5500, which works fine - I can login and startx etc...

So preceded to install e17 ipkg packages and I am getting a error when I try to install e ipk.

Error:
File name too long.

Any ideas about what would cause this to happen?

hmm don't know what's causing the error, but I believe e17 has been compiled for pxa proc and it won't work on a 5500.

All packages for pdaxrom ending with armv5tel.ipk won't work on a 5500
