yeah, as I posted I could get it running... but it was so frikin slow....
I found a HP49 emulator for linux.... but seems like it uses imake and other tools for building, so it's most likely to compile under pocketworkstation... and I don't have storage space for that sad.gif

Here's the link...

I cant run on my PC, on AthlonXP 32bits I got this errors:
Code: [Select]
./quick_start
saturn-E-Primary Chf initialization failed (11)
saturn-E-Alternate Chf initialization failed (11)
saturn-W-locale probably bad; reverting to C locale
saturn-E-Primary Chf initialization failed (11)
saturn-E-Alternate Chf initialization failed (11)
saturn-F-Application aborted

And I cant compile on my AMD 64bits

Any try?

no more clues than this:
Search in google for "Chf initialization failed" (with the quotes)
The page no longer exists but there's a cached copy. look at it..

I built it on my Linux box, it looks very ugly.  I'll stick with my hp48gx port.

I have looked at porting both emu48 and the Mac port of emu48 to Linux.  I settled on x48 because of time.  If I have the time I may continue to work on getting emu48 ported to Qt.  It is non trivial.
