I recently upgraded to a 3100, and I have my 5500 left over. it is definitely used, but works. It currently has OZ-3.5.3/GPE on it, but I will re-flash before sending.
Details:
1) Working 5500 with all the parts, but no CF or SD cards since they fit in my camera and the 3100. Oh, I think I'll keep the stylus, too. Some scuffing of the case, but guaranteed to work upon arrival.
2) One 5500 with a broken screen. It actually still works, but I broke the screen and Office Max, where I bought it, replaced it under warrantee without making me send it back. I decided to save it for parts, and it also is an alternate charging stand. You can actually still use it in console mode, but it won't recognize anything with the touch screen, so you can't get past the calibration on boot-up. Original Sharp ROM IIRC.
3) 3 batteries. They don't last all that long any more, but then they never lasted as long as I would have liked.
4) 2 usb cradles
5) 2 chargers (US -- universal with plug adapters; used successfully in Europe and Brazil)
6) One car charger.
$150 + shipping OBO for all of it; make offers for pieces. BTW, shipping would be from Bethlehem, PA.

Well, much to my surprise the broken-screen Z went first (to Tward, with thanks), along with a battery and AC charger. The rest is still available, though. That is still all the pieces that come with a new 5500, (except for the stylus) plus a battery.
The rest clealy goes for less; let's say $100 OBO.
