Hi All,
I installed XMMS Embedded from 3.5.4 feed and it seems to have installed input plugins for a number of formats in /opt/QtPalmtom/lib/xmms/Input but it does not contain libflac. Is this intentional or is there a separate package I perhaps missed?
Any help with this appreciated!
steven

iirc xmms-embedded does not have flac plugin at all. Probably normal flac plugin from xmms would work with xmms-emb but noone added it.

There's mention of FLAC on the xmms-embedded.sourceforge.net page, and in the old OZ 3.2 feed that's still there:
http://xmms-embedded.sourceforge.net/feed/oz32/Packages (http://xmms-embedded.sourceforge.net/feed/oz32/Packages)
There are both a libflac and a flac input plugin. This page:
http://zsi2.stonekeep.com/index.php?v=d&a=423 (http://zsi2.stonekeep.com/index.php?v=d&a=423)
mentions also there being a FLAC plugin.
I imagine those are not useful since OZ 3.2 is very old. I wanted to look at the source used for xmms-embeded in Oz 3.5.4 but haven't figured out yet how the SDK works or where the sources are (checking through the forum later).
If it's something you happen to see was misconfigured in the build process and not compiled, I'd love to have this feature. If it's not there, then I'll go ahead and some research into it all.
Thanks,
steven
