Title: Full Reset Button Not Working?
Post by: michaelsonline on April 02, 2006, 12:21:32 pm
Just wondering I flashed my sl5000d to oz 3.5.4 yesterday and screwed up installing a program so I figured I would just full reset and start over. I opened battery cover and hit the full reset button and turned the unit on. But it still retains the data is this normal? When I used thekompany rom it would act like the sharp rom and reset to blank pda.
(I tried searching in the forum but only came across flashing errors not this question)

Thanks for your time
Michael

Under OZ most of data is kept in Flash instead of memory - so you can do 'full reset'. Ofcourse if you use other kernel then 64/0 then you will loose everything in /media/ram/
