(Most of) my current mail is on a IMAP server. On my desktop box I use offlineimap and mutt, which is pretty cool when you have a keyboard, unlimited disk space and broadband. While it's possible to do the same on Z, I'd appreciate a GPE solution. I tried Sylpheed, which is good, but it was even better if it was better customized for use with stylus and small screen.
What I am looking for is a client, that will download *new* mails in imap/INBOX, so I can read them while disconnected. But it's not the best idea (though possible with 1GB MMC card) to store *all* mails on the Z.
GnuPG, gpe-contacts integration, filters would be cool. Any hints?

I'm not sure if it works under OZ but I use OfflineIMAP to my 1Gig SD card. I use Mutt to read it and XEmacs to compose email.
My email floats around the 150MB-200MB mark.

I [a href=\"https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=12198&hl=offlineimap]tried in the past[/url] to get offlineimap to work under OZ, but never could. maybe I should try again. Kewl, another project .
All I do now is to rsync my mail folder onto my sd card. At least it goves me a portable copy of my email in imap format (readable with mutt), and I send & receive mail while online with sylpheed.

I'll have to get a proper .offlineimaprc file setup, but the part of the error starting with '/local/pkg...'' doesn't look promising.
grog@grond[pts/0][~]$ offlineimap
*** Config file /home/grog/.offlineimaprc does not exist; aborting!
grog@grond[pts/0][~]$ touch /home/grog/.offlineimaprc

I didn't work for me. I'm running the OZ3.5.4 gpe-image with default feeds and tried 'ipkg install offlineimap' which didn't work for missing python-dependencies. If I find the time I'll look whether I can satisfy the dependices.

perl and python got separated feeds - I forgot to add them into list of feeds in images.
