Title: C3200 Crisis
Post by: Fushnchupsh on April 10, 2006, 11:26:30 pm
Soooo....  I try trisoft's localization pack...  I upload it to SD card try the back/restore program and it fails.  I go back to laptop and find out that there was a write delay failure because I didn't eject the card.  So...  I try to boot up and it fails at the sharp screen.  So, smart me figures I'll try OZ.  Again, I get a hang at the sharp screen when I try to boot.  Well, this is frustrating...  I try cacko and I get the same hang.

My question is, are there any NAND images out there for the c3200.  This is quite depressing, having it sit there all brand-new and stuff...

Hi all,

you guys are driving us crazy
No, there wasn't one.
But now, there is : SL-C3200 NAND Image (63.9 MB) (http://www.trisoft.de/download/SYSTC320.zip)

The NAND image is a snapshot of the actual localisation, so there's
no need to restore the localisation backup after the NAND restore.

Have fun.

63.9MB
That's a lot bigger than the one for C3100
I just looked at my NAND from Trisoft, and it's 45.6MB

Hi all,

I just looked at my NAND from Trisoft, and it's 45.6MB
that's because the 3200 comes with a bit more software
(we really love the Text-To-Speech application   ) and
the localisation was also slightly larger. Also we're now
shipping all Zauris preinstalled with the 30day trial version
of TextMaker. All this brings the extra-megs for the NAND
and the regular backup set.

And don't worry if you own a previous unit from us. We just
updated the SL-C1000 and are working on an updated set
for the SL-C3100 also. You should see it in our download area
after the easter holidays.

We hope you all do

Hi Lareya,
Quote
what about an image for the c3000?
available since Feb, 15th 2005
NAND Image SL-C3000 (http://www.trisoft.de/download/SYSTC300.zip)
But remember, that the NAND won't help much.
You'll need the file from the "Restore the harddisk"
paragraph on this page:
SL-C3000 download page (http://www.trisoft.de/en_c3000howto.htm)

Thank the trisoft!

I have a NAND BACKUP!
jeez!  i can't believe sharp did not include one and why trisoft has one is beyond me.  I have all 3 cd's and its full of junk.

I tried purchasing my zaurus from you guys last time and found it difficult to get one from your store.

So for my next purchase, i'm emailing you.

i got to get another battery charger from streamlinecpu     and a few more items.

If you would like the *Stock* NAND from japan for just about all Zauri models you can get it here...

http://downloads.conics.net/pda/zaurus-sl-...iginal-backups/ (http://downloads.conics.net/pda/zaurus-sl-c700/service-menus/original-backups/)

Not trying to stir anyone one away from Trisoft's NAND's just giving another option...      ... Save Trisoft Bandwidth for shoppers...
