Title: X11 Apps Under Opie?

Is it possible to run apps like Abiword, Gnumeric, firefox,... under OPIE?

No, it isn't, use an X based image (e, gpe, xfce) for that

ummm.. actually there is a way. There is an xserver called xqt, that runs x in a qtopia window.

exactly what I was looking for! I'll try to post feedbacks.

Btw, is it also possible to do the opposite: run opie based apps under x11 (I have never tried gpe, but I may like it) ?

yes, but you'd have to recompile opie for qvfb support, and then run opie in the qvfb app.
