If theres a spot that looks like a dead pixel and u look at it from an angle & it seems to disappear, if I recall correctly that should be dust under the screen.
Is dismantling the zaurus screen to clean under the glass a pain? Any1 have a picture guide?

Looking to clean (under glass) my sl-5600 also!

I had dust under my 3000 screen. I just removed the screws and blew through it and it went away

I pulled apart of zaurus *very carefully* and took out the LCD module. Found it too much hassle to take off the glass screen, and besides I would of probably added more dust in their. But its simple to do as long as you have a completely dust free environment, just need to push in the 4 or 6 metal catches that hold in the glass & blow with compressed air. The dust free environment is a trickly one. I have fluff balls as big as kittens in my house
lol! it took me 2 hours to put on a ultraclear screen protector. kept on taking it off to get rid of trapped dust as I was laying it down. grrr!
One good way to get a dust free environment would be to run the shower for abit on hot, & the steam should be able to eliminate most of the dust in the environment before working.
