Was wondering if theres a monitor adapter for the Zaurus, mainly the 7xx and 8xx series? Is it possible for me to connect the Z to an external display? I know theres one for presentations but is there one that will will allow an s-video or any other type of connection?

The IO Data XGA card supports S-Video:

Sorry for the dumb question, but it looks like all of these cf vga monitor adaptors are only for displaying from a specific application. Is there one that will output the normal screen???I\'d love to be able to use a head mounted display, or hook it up to a regular monitor.....

Got this one and it works with other apps too.
There is a mirror app around that will output whatever is on Zaurus screen. Frame rate is still something like 1 ot 2 frames a second, so no good for video etc.

You could proabably run X on the CF display, and then run a movie player at reasonable speed.

The CF card emulates an 8 bit ATA interface so you have to draw or upload the images slowly. It isn\'t fast, and won\'t be fast since there is no framebuffer.

Does the "mirroring" produce a 640x480 output or can it also generate 800x600?
