Title: Pyramidlinux ?
Post by: paxel on May 02, 2006, 04:55:40 pm
While searching Ubuntu website I found a link to one of its derivatives intended for embedded systems - Pyramid Linux. Has anyone heard of it?

It seems to be in a very early stage so far, but having Ubuntu on Zaurus (although it is not specified for what devices it will be developed) would be fantastic!

Here's their web:
http://pyramid.metrix.net/ (http://pyramid.metrix.net/)

This is the mentioned ubuntu website:
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/derivatives (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/derivatives)

This is a distro fo embedded systems, like wireless routers, not for pda's.

You don't have a graphical interface, and is based in uClinux, not glibc.
