Hi all,
I've been looking for where the zaurus is storing its addressbook and calendar data. I was told .../Applications/addressbook/addressbook.xml but there's no such file on my system. In fact, "find" can't find any files containing the terms "address" and "xml" in a case insensitive search. I've poked around in the directories I considered likely and really can't find them. I'll probably feel silly when someone tells me the answer, but... where are they?
I have:
Qtopia version 1.5.4
ROM version: CACkO Zaurus Qtopia ROM 1.23 1029311005
for and running on a SL-C3100.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'd like to know I can at least back up the relevent directories!

Hello,
try this drectory : /home/zaurus/Applications/dtm
You'll find some files like SLADRS.BOX and SLADRS.IDX.
Hope this helps.

This is the location used for all newer Zaurus models (after SL-5500 with ROM 2.38). Only those up to ROM 2.38 used the xml format directly.
If you want to extract data in XML format, try the tool dtm2xml (which is part of ZMacSync).

Thanks for the help, I remember wondering what those files were. The names aren't terribly obvious but now I know I can get on with backing them up
