after i recovered from my hdd 00 clear dilema, i accidently droped the batter and now has a very very small crack on one of the edges.
what i want to know is if it will leak it's content out? Im sure it has internal insulation and barriers to keep it safe. what do you guys think?

That is just the battery cover. The battery inside is sealed.

thanks.. that is what i thought. It would be crazy just to stuff a bunch of compounds in plastic without securing it.

However, dropped lithium ion batteries have a propensity for exploding. Just google for cell phone exploding battery. Rare, but possible.
Thanks,
