That's actually about the new firmware (http://maemo.org/platform/docs/roadmap.html), not a new device.

Also clearly states Nokia will be announcing a QWERTY keyboard follow up. That makes it sound very attractive to me ...

speculation, the nokia people have been pretty clear on the fact that bluetooth keyboards are the future.
