Title: Pdaxrom Beta4 "light And Power Settings" (patch)

$gunzip /LOCATION TO/lightnpower.patch.gz $ cd /usr/bin/ $ patch -p0 < /LOCATION TO/lightnpower-r2.patch patching file /usr/bin/lightnpower.py
If you dont have patch command copy full lightnpower apps:

$ cd /LOCATION TO/lightnpower.py.gz/ $ gunzip lightnpower.py.gz $ cp lightnpower.py /usr/bin/
This simple patch enable 1 to max_brightness levels on Light and Power settings!

OBSÂ¹: Autodetect max_brightness
OBSÂ²: Who applied first patch must use lightnpower.py.gz, use gunzip for uncompress...

Yeah but with this patch you have only 20

btw. Thanks it works fine... what we still need is to change backlight with fn+3 and fn+4.

Also the patch didnt work for me so I took the file itself and copied it to /usr/bin. It says command not found for "patch".

Yes! this is a new version max_brightness is a value from kernel this has diff values for each Z, now this script detects what is this value for you machine....
