I worked with a C860 with beta1 and I loved it. Now I have a C3200 and I wonder if there is already a "stable" version (like beta1) für C3200? I tried beta1-akita, but it did'nt install ("wrong machine"). I searched for beta2, but there only was a dead link. I tried beta3, but there was no "."-key at all (and some other sweet little bugs). I tried beta4, but there was no right mouse click (and some other sweet little bugs).
As I have to use my zaurus professionally, I need a minimum of stable basic functions.
Any hints? Any experience from other C3200 users?

There is a version. Just google pdaxrom 3200. However, it is not very stable. Suspend crashes and there are some issues with fonts.

I doubt. Not sure about other models, but it is 100% guaranteed there is no normal ROM for 3200 which "just works".

For all those who think of using pdaxrom on C3200:
Meanwhile I installed beta3 on my C3200 again and optimized it step by step using lots of information appearing in this forum. I think it took me more than a month but it was a success no doubt. Now it runs "rather" stable for me, better and a lot faster than the old beta1 version on the C860.
I use the microdrive as a ext3-partition only for data and swapping (132MB) and have most of the additional programs (taking about 400 MB) on a 1GB SD-card, ext3-formatted. I use some KDE programs under my beloved rox (-session) windows manager, even konqueror works fine, but takes about 90 sec to load. After some tweaking my WLAN- and BT-Cards are properly recognized, networking runs without any problems, but I never used USB networking.
I can play large videos in fullscreen with mplayer and have configured xmms to be used as a mp3/ogg-player controlled with the jog wheel. I have installed atd together with KO/PI (KDEPIM) and can use audio alarming properly.
Resuming works fine, if you only use the software key for suspend and the HOME-Key for resume.
So I'm very happy with this version and I can use my Zaurus as a subnotebook which provides most of the functions of a large machine, maybe sometimes a little bit delayed.
