Title: Want: Sl-5500 Mainboard

Hi

I need a replacement main board for my SL-5500...

My unit does work but the sound is all crackly so there must be something wrong with the sound chip so I need the replacment board (please, no comments on what I should try to fix it... tried it all)

So if anyone has a spare board or a broke sl-5500 with a working board then I am very very interested.

I think you should try replacing the main board.

I think you should try replacing the main board.

You also may want to change your title to something like 5500 with broken LCD wanted or make another post....as there are many peopl in that situation that may not realize that that is exactly what you are looking for. (Few people will dare try to remove "just" the mainboard...even on a broken LCD unit.
