Title: Wtb: Part-broken 6000
Post by: speculatrix on May 30, 2006, 05:37:28 am
I had a fully-working 6000 until I damaged a RAM chip during an aborted upgrade... so if anyone has one to sell with broken screen/keyboard/case but has working motherboard, let me know.

Alternatively, make me an offer for an immaculate 6000 which needs access to a BGA re-work station to repair

If you do sell the 6K,

Figlabs do a C1000 for £380. . .

Grieving with you. ;_;

I suddenly realised how much I used my Z - for wireless browsing, with a serial port at work for controlling cisco devices... it's like something's missing.

p.s. at the moment, my gadget budget is zilch - my wife would not be happy if I spent good money on a new Z, since we have builders in costing lots of dosh. Also, if I did have the dosh, I'd go to PriceJapan and get a 3200!
