Title: Flybook
Post by: Mjolinor on May 31, 2006, 04:45:54 pm
Does anyone have a Flybook and can you tell me if the touch screen is a passive resistive or an active like a wacom tablet.

The difference being that on the latter you can rest your hand on the screen when writing but with a passive resistive you can't.

It behaves just like the Z. You have to touch the screen with the stylus - you can't wave the stylus a little above the screen and have the mouse move.

I haven't noticed any problem about resting my hand on the screen, though.

Mike.

So you can use your finger instead of the stylus?

I believe what he said meant you can use your finger as well.  And I see that it is mentioned as TouchScreen with no mention of active pointer or stylus ... usually meaning its a passive touchscreen ... meaning you can use your finger, knuckle or any hard *but* smooth object to act as a pointer on the screen.
