Title: Sd Cards
Post by: peterjb on June 02, 2006, 08:35:28 am
Sorry for asking as I know this is probably a very simple question but I can't find an answer already on th forums so what size SD card will the Zaurus support (C860 to be precise).  I am thinking of ordering a 4GB card.  If it supports which file system should I format with (fAT 32 or Ext 2)

Please help as I could do with the memory.

Zaurus, can only USUALLY handle up to 1.0gb in the SD card slot, CF can take bigger.

If you want to use it with a windows box, use fat. if you want to use it with linux and only linux, use whatever you want. XD

What if I use it with pdaxrom or have it set up as 4 1gb partitions?

You know, I think I actually saw a list of SD cards and sizes that were supported in the Zaurus manual (c3100 here).  Check that out.
