Well, I changed GPE's init scripts ages ago to allow for a GUI-less boot (you should have seen the discussions that took place just to decide which runlevel is *with* GUI and which without). By the looks of it that change was reverted...

coredump: check this and push back to .oz354x - we can skip .dev but .oz354x can have it.
