Title: Oz 3.5.4. - No Usb On Scl-760
Post by: Gévard on June 05, 2006, 11:41:16 am
Hello

Has anyone fixed this.

I recently installed OZ 3.5.4rc4 (it's the same for rc0) and there is no ipkg regarding USB that has been installed (no usbcore, neither usb-net). When I plug the Z on my notebook, and do an "lsusb" there is no entry regarding the Zaurus. There is no hardware issue because this was working correctly with OZ3.5.3.

I try to install usbcore and usb-net manually and load them with modprobe, the notbook still don't see the Z.

Is the usb working for you? I can't point any bug regarding this on buggzilla or in this forum.
Does anyone have a step by step guide to install manually the usb on the Zaurus.

Thanks for your reply.

modprobe g_ether

Assuming this is one of the 2.6 kernel machines, as you don't say which it is.

uname -a give me:
linux C7X0 2.6.1.6 #1 ......

It's a standard install of OZ 3.5.4.1rc4. For a reason that I don't understand the install didn't notice that my Z has a usb.

How was your install on the C7X0?
