There seem to be pdaxrom feeds scattered everywhere- is there not one site I can use to search all the pdaxrom feeds? If there is such a site it would be prominently linked on the pdaxrom.org site I suppose. The packages I want now are
xfm (the file manager- only because ROX's copy feature works in a non-standard way and dragging folders and files doesn't really agree with a touchscreen device)
zynaddsubfx
MAME and gngeo
all for 1.1.0b1
Also, I've been unable to access desertrats feed so is there another feed with aspell? I'll be willing to put together a zynaddsubfx package if no-one has done so already.
Also, how come I only ever seem to be able to search OESF for one single string at a time? I might've not had to ask half as many questions about my Z if i'd worked out its search earlier.

Yes i know, there' s a little confusion as Sashz it' s working on the kernel and main distribution, feed and me and other contributors are working on other packages.
Well, i think that the only thing we have to do, it' s pointing the ipkg.conf file to the main feeds that now are on the http://mail.pdaxrom.org/download dir with all the Distro.
And for the contrib packages point to http://mail.pdaxrom.org/contrib dir and add all the contrib sources.
Now to avoid all confusions i suggest all the contributors to reorder their feeds for Beta distributions, as who has the 1.1.0betaX can know what to point and download.
I compiled all the packages in my OldBetas dir with the 1.1.0beta1 SDK to make it compatible with all the Zauri and add the Beta4 DIR for the new Beta packages feed.
Hope this help.

Don't quite understand that last posting Xromer. I was hoping your contrib link might add all the contrib feeds to my ipkg.conf in one fell swoop- not to be. As an URL it just takes you to the pdaXrom community page. Speaking of which
http://mail.pdaxrom.org/contrib/list.txt (http://mail.pdaxrom.org/contrib/list.txt)
That list seems to be the nearest I can get to a complete, searchable list of pdaXrom packages but I know its incomplete and out of date as I downloaded amule off Xromers feed yesterday. It was supposed to be packaged for beta4 but it ran fine under beta1! My Z is really kicking ass now!
I'm still looking for all the above packages (but I bet no-one has packaged zyn yet) as well as streamtuner or another shoutcast browser.
I'm also searching for an idiots guide to setting up ssh just so I can get scp/ gftp copying files over the USB connection. When I find such a thing I want meanie to include it in his otherwise comprehensive pdax guide.

Right, to the URL you have to add the name of the contributor logically.
i.e. http://mail.pdaxrom.org/contrib/Xromer
Now, i' m little confusing too.
Just finished yesterday the new CVS GPE-PIMS compilation over the SDK 1.1.0beta1 and Fedora4 release.
Now i' m finishing doing the right rules-ipk to make an auto compilation for the Beta4 with the builder.
What are you saying is that feed on Beta4 works in the OldBetas too??
Now if you can test other packages, i can make only one Feed for all, instead of make a triple compilation that is, OldBetas - FC4 - Beta4.
Now, as i have the complete stuff for compilation on Beta4, i. e. SDK Builder and complete feed compiled.
You can make a list of PRGS to be useful for compilation and i can try to compile them for you.
Adding a new rules-ipk it' s not a big trick, it' s difficult when a library needs dependencies and installation of headers in the toolchain like Nautilus that needs a lot of deps.

I seem to be having problems with the pdaXrom contrib feeds- I can't download either aspell nor cups from desertrats feed and I can't get jpilot from xdevils feed. It's looking like gpe-calendar is the program I really want for calendaring with alarms though.
Yesterday morning I successfully downloaded aspell from desertrats feed and it worked. Shortly after that though I trashed my install trying to get scp working and I havent been able to get desertrats feed working since. I tried installing aspell and then en dictionary manually by downloading/installing the individual .ipk files but it didn't work- Abiword said it couldn't find the dictionary. Strange as I downloaded the ipks from desertrats feed and they worked (once) when installed direct from his feed.
Xromer:
Yes, amule from your beta4 thread worked fine under beta1- I just had to install libtiff myself and it worked. Adding
http://mail.pdaxrom.org/contrib/Xromer (http://mail.pdaxrom.org/contrib/Xromer)
to ipkg.conf doesn't work though, putting a /Beta4 on the end does work but there is no sign of gpe-calendar
If gpe-calendar works (with alarm wake from suspend) as I'd hope then this is another thing which needs to be added to meanies pdaxrom guide

the problem is that the pdaxrom website is being reorganised and links keep changing so they sometimes work and sometimes dont.
i actually have a mini feed on my site with some of the contributed packages. well i got the packages whacked into a feed directory but havent generated the Packages file. you will just have to install the packages individually or download them all and generate your own Packages file locally.

Right as i said, i began to do the rules-ipk for the Beta4 builder of the GPE stuff.
Do not worry soon they will be online.
As i already compiled them for the OldBetas and gpe-calendar has a lot of new features to check. :-)
I added the docbook for Nautilus and Gnome-Desktop compilation, so the only thing is the time to put all toghether.
Asap i have it, i' ll do it' s my promise as i really need them too.
