Title: Archos File Formats And Spec On Mac
Post by: luisfernandes on June 09, 2006, 01:47:01 pm
I've been having problems exporting my Video files in the right format on my Mac (Quicktime Pro) to play on the Archos. I've tried .mp4 and .avi but they are not recognised on the Archos. Is there a codec I need, or a specific file convertor program.

Any ideas or pointers would be great

I have used this with some success... [a href=\"http://www.ffmpegx.com/]http://www.ffmpegx.com/[/url]

I'm OSX 10.3.9 and some times I record off of my EyeTV then use ffmpegX to convert to DivX. I have only done this recently and haven't had a chance to see if I can get better quality.
