Hi all!
I searched over to answer a -maybe for others- bit silly question, but as I didn't got a clear answer, here am I .
I'm about to buy a 3200 and I need to know if it can do such a simple thing: If the unit stays completely closed, let's say, in suspend mode (does this exist for Zaurii, the same way it does for regular laptops?), does it wakes if there's an alarm on a schedule/calendar/PIM app?.
Something close to this is to use the zaurus like an alarm clock to wake up every morning, but having the unit closed (again... suspend/hibernated/whatever is called).
Thanks for having such an interesting and helpful community.

yes you can use the Z as an alarm clock.
The Z wakes up from suspend even when closed. Depending on the setting, you could turn the Z back off just by openning and closing the lid.

Thank you!, I think I have no excuse now to go&get one

Hi Meanie, I already read your guide (the +200 pg pdf one ), it's been a pleasure, and as all of your readers, am lucky!. I don't have it yet, but after your guide and all the things I read, I won't get to July without one.
I'm thinking on it for a poweful PIM, a small portable eventual office (word processord, spreadsheet and e-mail), and project manager soft...
and of course, because I really love that clamshell design
(BTW, nice alarm clock, isn't it? hehe!)
