Hey there-
Just got a zaurus - mostly for work but also becuase of the high tinker factor. I got a c860 and am running 1.1.0beta1 on it. Still doing basic installs right now and not any sort of compilations on it yet. Love it so far
So I need a remote desktop client to remote desktop to my windows machine at work. From doing searches it seems winconnect Z is the software of choice. However thinsoftinc.com does not seem to sell it anymore and I can't get a response from my inquiries to thinsoftinc if it's available and/or if one of their other product will work on the zaurus out of the box (from the trial downloads none of them will work)
Does anyone have a recommendation? Or anyone like to sell me a used copy?
Thanks!
Ben
p.s. the thing that took the longest was getting the vpnc client to work. it does and feel free to message me if you want my instructions. still on the list: wpa supplicant which looks like I will have to go and compile it since the wpa_supplicant in the feed doesn't seem to work.

What's wrong with rdesktop (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1751&hl=rdesktop)? Or is that not what you want?

first time i've seen mention of rdesktop. will take a look-

wow rdesktop worked great. and it was right in the feed too. there's such an overwhelming amount of stuff to go through, and that's just normal packages.
thanks for your help guys

Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread, but Is there a way to get rdesktop to run and connect with Windows XP Home?
I'd like to try this, but not sure how much it costs to get an upgrade from "XP Home" to "XP Pro"

A simple google search will answer that for you. Quoted from [a href=\"http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxp_home_pro.asp]this[/url] site.
XP Home can act as the client in a Remote Desktop session; only Pro can be the server.

Thank you xamindar,
so in other words, I "need" to have the server feature in XP Pro to use my Zaurus and rdesktop. In other words, I need XP Pro.
