Please have a look at our Sharp Zaurus shop http://www.pulster.de/engl (http://www.pulster.de/engl)
We are located in germany and are selling Zaurus since many years for quite reasonable prices. Now we provide a English product description and english shop interface. Shipping is international. First ten customers get a pen as free present.
Any suggestions and help welcome,
Christoph

I bought my C1000 at www.pulster.de, and I can recommend especially for EU citizens. No problems, good shipping and very good price. I cannot tell about warranty because my Z is still OK :-)))

It's always amazing to me how a SL6000 Z is so expensive everywhere. But I'm not complaining ... I got my Aki!
btw, nice site, well wishes to your biz!

They must be buying specially modified C3200's because their models have "128MB flash RAM", whatever that is!

It's perfectly fine to call it flash RAM, google for it. It definitely isn't a ROM memory, is it?

if you want to argue semantics, ROM is also RAM (random access memory, as opposed to serial memory or block-format memory like CF flash or hard drives). What is commonly called RAM should be called RWRAM [read write random access memory], and ROM should be RORAM or something
However, sticking to the convention...
Flash is an evolution of EEROM (electrically eraseable read only memory), and is totally different to say battery backed SRAM, and different again from SDRAM and DDSDRAM aka DDR.
Flash, when erasing and writing is definitely NOT random access, it reverts to block mode, so it would be RORAMBWE (read-only-random-access-memory/block-write-erase)!!
sorry, but I used to be an embedded micros person, so I've had to cope with the awfully long list of rival technologies and the battle-grounds which came along.
