Title: Working With Packages - Default Sharp Rom, C1000

Hi all,

I just bought a C1000 the other day since I`m in Tokyo. Currently on default settings, 1 gb sd flash. I`ve managed to install the wlan update for the gw-cf11x so I have wireless connectivity.

Everything`s good except for the fact that I`m having some trouble installing and using applications using the default package manager. Using the command line interface rather than the gui package manager seems to help with some apps, but I still can`t get certain apps to work - like gaim.

Using the zaurus user group feed.

Appreciate any suggestions.

For gaim, I got mine installed with qpe-gaim 0.4-2cxx0-1 ... the feeds are really wacked up ... if you need more info, I'll post later on the actual feeds I use.
