First off I would like to apologize if there is already a post on this, i am pretty sure I have scanned through majority of this forum in search of a beta 4/ntfs topic but if i have missed one I apologize.
Basically i wanna know if anyone has had anyluck mounting an ntfs drive.
I have a partitioned drive
adding my info to fstab /dev/sda6, which is fat, is automounted on startup
but my /dev/sda5 which is ntfs is not
when i try to manually mount by typing
mount /dev/sda5
mount: unknown filesystem type 'ntfs'
I tried installing (which are actually Cacko i think, but hell figured might as well try):
kernel-modules-ntfs-2.4.18_arm5vtel.ipk
ntfs-zaurus_2.4.20_arm.ipk
but to no avail. Any ideas?

you can't do this. 2.4 kernel modules won't work with 2.6 kernel. you will need to install the relevant ntfs module for 2.6 kernel.
try this:
[a href=\"http://mail.pdaxrom.org/download/1.1.0beta4/Zaurus-Cxx00/feed/kernel-modules_2.6.16_armv5tel.ipk]http://mail.pdaxrom.org/download/1.1.0beta...16_armv5tel.ipk[/url]
otherwise, wait till it is available...

Thank you for the reply, unfortunately it didnt work. Guess I am going to have to wait the the new ntfs module. Thank you again
