Title: Bricked 3200
Post by: haywood_andrew on July 05, 2006, 01:47:25 am
Help.

I think i have bricked my 3200.

Im a newbie and stuffed up my system so as a last resort i tried to restore using NAND and the nand resotre file from TRISOFT's webpage.

Worked fine. But for some reason I thought it would be good to clean the HDD at the same time so in the process I clicked on the HDD Clear option. I cancelled this immediately but now when i reboot I get a HDD1 error. Is there any way to restore the HDD or my Zaurus back to workable state.

Im pretty sorry I didnt read teh documentation before I started.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Andy

ohh jeee another one!

anywhoo!

http://www.trisoft.de/download/SLC3200SYSPART.zip (http://www.trisoft.de/download/SLC3200SYSPART.zip)

read up in the trisoft pdf file on how to go into c3000qse.pdf in page 35 on how to boot to command line.

follow the instructions in the 3200syspart.

you basically need to create 3 directories using the terminal and place all the unziped content into the first 2 partitions.

It is tricky and a headache for firstimers.

Will have to spend weeks on searching for USB Host cables instead of contacting you.

Thx again for free USB Host cable Marc.
