Title: Ical Formatted Calendars
Post by: nitehawk on July 06, 2006, 03:12:17 pm
Hi,
I've got a 5500 using the OZ 3.5.4 ROM.
Is there any calendar program that will read in an *.ics file?
I have my family calendar which is shared via webdav, and would like to get that same calendar into the Z... even if it's read only, I'll take it :-)

The new gpe-calendar (>0.72) support reading and publishing .ics files to webdav

You can use them with the excellent KO/PI from KDEPIM/PI. Don't know if there is a version of KDEPIM/PI for your ROM, though, but most probably there is.

I installed Kopi yesterday and it appears to be able to import and export .ics files (i haven't tried it though).

Let me know how you get on, as I'd like to be able to "sync" (either automatically or manually) with my phpiCalendar on my webspace.

Hmm - I need to look at Ko/PI again - I thought I saw that it wasn't really the gest thing to try and run on a Collie, due to the speed available.

Thx Guys :-)
