Title: Wlan Cf Antenna Screw Off
Post by: logo on July 09, 2006, 07:26:12 pm
Hi!

Now i'm looking for a WLAN CompactFlash card for my Zaurus for which i can screw off it's antenna.
I did take a look at FAQ, but all these WLAN cards only have an internal antenna. That wouldn't be bad if there would be connector for external antenna.

Does anyone know such a WLAN CF card with connector for external antenna which does run with Zaurus (Openzaurus or some other Zaurus Embedded Linux)?

bye

No one makes one.  You'd have to modify one.

It may have had a connector inside, but no one makes one with a user accessable external antenna connector.  The ones you find inside are for testing the radios at the factory.

Good idea.
I've seen there are antenna hacks for Linksys WUSB11.
